RECIPES WITH NETAJI KACCHI GHANI MUSTARD OIL

Mustard oil adds aroma, sharpness, and great omega-3 benefits. Best for sautéing, light frying, and pickled-style flavors.

1. Mustard Oil Veg Poha

  • Poha (flattened rice) – 1 cup

  • Mustard oil – 1 tbsp

  • Mustard seeds, curry leaves

  • Onion, green chilli

  • Turmeric, salt

  • Peas, carrot, lemon juice

2. Mustard Oil Masala Omelette

  • Eggs – 2

  • Mustard oil – 1 tsp

  • Onion, tomato, green chilli

  • Coriander, salt & pepper

3. Mustard Oil Veg Upma

  1. Roast semolina separately.

  2. In mustard oil, sauté mustard seeds, urad dal, onion, veggies.

  3. Add water → simmer → add semolina.

  4. Cook till fluffy.

4. Mustard Oil Sprouts Stir-Fry

  1. Heat 1 tsp mustard oil.

  2. Add garlic + green chilli → toss sprouts (moong/mixed).

  3. Add salt, pepper, lemon.

Groundnut oil has a neutral nutty taste, high smoke point, and healthy MUFA. Ideal for pan-frying, sautéing, and crispy textures without heavy greasiness.

1. Groundnut Oil Vegetable Dalia

  1. Heat 1 tbsp groundnut oil.

  2. Add cumin, garlic, onions.

  3. Add veggies + roasted dalia (broken wheat).

  4. Add water → pressure cook.

2. Groundnut Oil Besan Chilla (Protein Pancake)

  • Besan – 1 cup

  • Groundnut oil – 1–2 tsp for cooking

  • Onion, tomato, coriander

  • Spices: haldi, jeera, chilli

3. Groundnut Oil Ragi Vegetable Uttapam

  1. Mix ragi flour + curd + water → batter.

  2. Pour onto tawa with few drops of groundnut oil.

  3. Add chopped veggies.

  4. Cook both sides.

4. Groundnut Oil Oats–Veg Stir Fry (Savory Oats)

  1. Sauté veggies in 1–2 tsp groundnut oil.

  2. Add oats + water + salt.

  3. Cook until soft.
