Ingredients

½ cup Netaji mustard oil

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup chopped dried fruits (plums, raisins, apricots)

½ cup brown sugar

2 eggs (or ½ cup yogurt)

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp nutmeg

1½ tsp baking powder
-
1 tsp vanilla
-
¼ cup orange juice
Method

SWhisk mustard oil and sugar until creamy.

Add eggs/yogurt and vanilla.

Mix flour, spices, and baking powder.

Fold dry ingredients into the wet mix.

Stir in dried fruits and orange juice.

Bake at 170°C for 35–40 minutes.
Christmas Vegetable Stir-Fry with Mustard Oil

Ingredients

2 tbsp Netaji mustard oil

1 cup broccoli
-
1 cup bell peppers
-
1 cup carrots
-
½ cup beans
-
½ tsp mustard seeds
-
½ tsp black pepper

Salt to taste

1 tsp honey
-
1 tsp lemon juice
Method

Heat mustard oil till hot and fragrant.

Add mustard seeds, then vegetables.

Stir-fry on high heat for 5–7 minutes.

Add honey, lemon juice, pepper, and salt.

Ingredients

500g boiled potatoes

2 tbsp mustard oil

1 tbsp mustard seeds

1 tbsp chopped parsley/coriander

½ tsp crushed garlic

Salt & pepper

1 tsp vinegar
Method

Heat mustard oil; add mustard seeds until they splutter.

Toss potatoes with herbs, garlic, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
